Philly is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, REPS Level 3 Personal Trainer and also a qualified boxing instructor. His sporting background encompasses everything from rugby, swimming, golfing and snowboarding to just about everything in between. Philly has been Crossfitting for 3 years and teaching and training others to maximise their general fitness potential for over 2 years now.
Up until September 2011 Philly worked as a private banker in the city until he made the move over to Crossfit full-time so he could dedicate his time to training others and helping them see just what their capable of.
Jami Tikkanen

Jami is a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer. He teaches CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Endurance, CrossFit Olympic lifting and CrossFit Movement & Mobility seminars around Europe, helping to develop the next generation of CrossFit trainers. As her head coach, Jami helped Annie Thorisdottir to win the title of the ‘Fittest Woman on Earth’ at Reebok CrossFit Games 2011. In his role as the head coach at Thames CrossFit Jami works to guarantee the quality of training and results for our clients.
Outside of his CrossFit qualifications, Jami is also a registered osteopath and holds diplomas in both sports massage and Chinese manual therapy. For the last 10 years, he has been teaching different forms of human movement, ranging from martial arts to breakdancing and elderly gymnastics. Jami’s own athletic background is in judo in which he competed internationally. He found CrossFit in 2006 and has made it his primary training method since.
Jami brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Thames Crossfit team which he endeavors to impart on his fellow Trainers, more importantly he uses this to give our members the best Crossfit training and education experience possible.
Jason Williams

Jay is a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer who also holds qualifications in Olympic lifting, Crossfit Endurance training and Gymnastics.
Jay found Crossfit in 2007 when he weighed in at 305llbs (22st), could not do a single pull-up or push-up and was on the road to a range of adult onset health problems. Fast forward to the present day and through Crossfit Jay has lost over 90llbs (6.5st) and has competed in several Crossfit competitions, marathons and endurance events.
Jay has been training others for a number of years and tried a variety of different methodologies, he found that Crossfit delivered the best results both quickly and safely, he has been hooked on functional movement ever since.
Jay’s personal experiences with Crossfit make him a role model to those at the start of their journey to better health and fitness, he has an ability to make beginners believe they are always capable of more and helps them reach their potential.
Phil Morton

Phil is a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer, REPS Level 2 qualified with certifications in Olympic Weightlifting and Crossfit Movement & Mobility. He also holds a degree in Human Biology and is presently studying to become a qualified Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist.
Phil’s athletic background is varied and includes competing on both football and athletic teams during his time school and University. He has also had experience in rock climbing, swimming, martial arts and endurance running.
Phil moved to London in February of 2009 to work as a Civil Servant, during the summer of that year he first came across Crossfit and began to experiment with this methodology. It wasn’t until Thames Crossfit opened in early 2010 that he decided to make Crossfit his primary method of training, when he started he weighed a spritely 59kg, in 18 months Phil has increased his lean mass by over 12kg and now weighs in at 73kg.
Joslyn Thompson

Joslyn has been a Personal Trainer & Sports Therapist for 9 years and became a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer in June 2010.
Jos believes Crossfit is a great way to train because there are so many variables involved, this constantly varied training method challenges an individual both physically and mentally.
Jos has a extensive sporting background which includes 15 years as a dancer, 4 years rowing at university and experience in marathons and triathlons, she has also competed in numerous Crossfit competitions and recently came 3rd in the 2011 UK Strength & Power meet.
